Abstract
This study is a consideration of the analysis and evaluation of historical documents related to the Keicho Oshu earthquake tsunami that occurred on December 2, 1611.The historical documents describe an earthquake from Otsuchi to Edo and a tsunami along the coast from Hokkaido to Tohoku. However, the descriptions in historical documents have been partially ignored and underestimated. When researching historical earthquakes and tsunamis, it is necessary to comprehensively analyze multiple historical documents.
