古代の足助

永井邦仁

　三河国賀茂郡東部地域の古代遺跡出土遺物を提示しながら山間部における生活拠点の動態を探る。それは７世紀後半の開始期、８世紀末～９世紀初頭の拡大期、９世紀後半以降の分散期を経て中世に至る。その軸として古代遺跡を結ぶようにしてのびる中馬街道の前身たる「塩の道」の存在を想定し、生活拠点の確立と密接にかかわるものと考えた。
