本稿は、オランダ・フローニンヘン美術館（GroningerMuseum）の学芸員クリスティアン．J．A．ヨルグ氏の論考「Japanese Lacquerwork Decorated after European Prints」を訳出し紹介したものである。 京都、長崎の漆器工房に発注された純西洋的意匠、器形の漆工品がテーマである。注文に基づく西洋風の漆器の珍しい作例の紹介と、その手本となった西洋版画が具体例を示している。 |

| Abstract |
古墳時代後期の頭椎大刀の観察から得られた処理方針の決定による保存処理の内容と処理中に得られた知見についての報告である。 保存処理は、保存処理前調査・記録→クリーニング→洗浄→脱塩→樹脂含浸→接合→樹脂塗布→復元→保存処理後調査・記録の工程で行い、それぞれの内容を記す。また、処理中に得られた、頭椎大刀の製作方法についての知見と、処理後の保存方法の指針を示している。 |

| Abstract |
古墳時代後期の頭椎大刀のＸ線透過及び、中性子ラジオグラフィによって得られた試験結果の報告である。 Ｘ線透過試験は、保存処理を行うにあたり必要不可欠のものであり、これによって得られた各部位の構造、腐食状態などの知見を記す。また、頭椎内側に付着していた布は、Ｘ線では影像に出来ないため、中性子ラジオグラフィの利用により良好な情報が得られた。 |
