考古学・文化財資料とデータの公開・利用を考える－社会的価値の増大を目指して－

日本の考古学は埋蔵文化財調査保護体制の拡充とともに膨大な量のデータを蓄積してきた（高田2019a, b）。しかしそれらは、流通・利用されなければ〈価値〉を生み出さない。蓄積・保存されるだけのデータは、流通・利用されない限り社会にあらたな知識やアイデアを提供する源泉とならない。逆に利用可能なデータが適切な公開され流通しているなら、データサイエンスのアプローチはより多くの成果を生み出し、社会にあらたな〈価値〉を提供し続けることができる。考古学・文化財データの公開・流通に関する現状、法制度と社会的受容について現状と課題を検討し、より良い将来に向けた展望のための基盤を考察する。
