About Clay net sinkers for fishing excavated in Kobe City from the Kofun period to the Kamakura period

神戸市内出土の土錘についてー古墳時代から鎌倉時代までー

神戸市内の発掘調査で発見される土錘 (漁網錘) を、古墳時代前期から鎌倉時代までの種類と、その変化からどのような変遷を遂げたかを考察した。その結果、古墳時代後期～飛鳥時代、奈良時代末～平安時代初頭、平安時代末～鎌倉時代の3期に画期が認められることが明らかとなった。これは先行研究による画期と概ね軌を一にしており、この地域の海に生きる人々が大阪湾・瀬戸内海に広がるネットワークを介在して、技術や情報を受け入れていたことの証左となった。

Clay net sinkers ‟Fishing net sinkers” found in the excavation in Kobe city are examined from the excavated remains of sites from the early Kofun period to the Kamakura period, and what kind of changes the net fishing gear is in this area from the change of the type.
I considered what I had achieved. From the excavated remains, it became clear that epochs were recognized in the three periods of the late Kofun period to the Asuka period, the end of the Nara period to the beginning of the Heian period, and the end of the Heian period to the Kamakura period.
Although this result is almost the same conclusion as the research results of the past, but at the same time, it proved that people living in the sea in this area accepted technology and information through the network that extends to the Osaka Bay and the Seto Inland Sea.
