Nakayama Sota ( 中山創太 )

歌川国芳 (1797-1861) は、江戸時代後期に活躍した浮世絵師であり、役者絵、美人画、風景版画、戯画など多岐にわたる分野の作品を手がけた。国芳が最も得意とした分野は、軍記物語や説話の登場人物を描いた「武者絵」であった。本稿では文政10年 (1827) 頃から天保7年 (1836) 頃まで刊行された揃物《通俗水滸伝豪傑百八人之一個 (一人) 》について、国芳の運動表現、絵手本利用といった「画法の研究」を考察した。
