下山の炭焼き実験

伊奈和彦蔭山誠一

愛知県豊田市下山地区における発掘調査では、炭焼窯と考えられる煙道がない土坑状の窯跡が多数確認された。本論は、その炭焼窯跡の使用方法や歴史的役割を検討するために、平成26 年に実施した炭焼き実験の報告である。
