To evaluate individual characteristics of each site is an important issue about the studies of prehistoric Okinawa. The excavation of the Sesokojima-Antinoue shellmound site offered ideal date enough to deal with this issue in the aspect of stone materials. In this paper I try a couple of new research methods to attain useful date from these raw stone materials, and I reveal that the Anchinoue shellmound site played a major role in the exchange of raw stone materials at that time. In addition, I try to reconstruct a social
