福島県文化財センター白河館(まほろん)　菊池徹夫 館長 最終講演会

2011年４月１日に白河市にある福島県文化財センター白河館(まほろん)館長に就任し、11年間にわたり原子力災害被災地の文化財継承や歴史の意義を伝える講演活動などに尽力されてきた菊池徹夫館長が、2022年６月27日に退任されました。

これに伴い、６月４日(土)に福島市・とうほう・みんなの文化センター(県文化センター)で、５日(日)に白河市立図書館で最終講演会を開催しました。
古代東北地方において蝦夷(えみし)と呼ばれた人々について、近年の東北考古学の成果に拠りつつ、この日本史の謎に迫ります。

Final Lecture by Tetsuo KIKUCHI, the director of Fukushima Prefectural Cultural Properties Center Shirakawakan (Mahoron)

On 1st April, 2011, Tetsuo KIKUCHI assumed the director of Fukushima Prefectural Cultural Properties Center Shirakawakan (Mahoron). Then he has been making efforts to give lectures about the inheritance of cultural properties and the significance of histories in the area, where is affected by the nuclear accident, and other topics for 11 years. On 27th June, 2022, he will retire from the director.

According to this retirement, Director KIKUCHI’s final lecture was held: at Toho Minna no Bunka Center (Fukushima Prefectural Culture Center) in Fukushima City on Saturday, 4th June; at Shirakawa City Library in Shirakawa City on Sunday, 5th June. With the latest archaeological achievements, he talked about his approaches to the mystery of the history of Japan: the ethnic group of people called Emishi, who lived in ancient Tohoku region.
